Overview
As part of Citi’s Corporate Actions Product & Data Team, you will lead the definition of business and functional requirements for complex Corporate Action initiatives and drive the product backlog. You will partner with clients and cross-functional partners to shape data-driven solutions on a global platform, focusing on governance, data quality, and automated workflows. You will shape interfaces (Web GUI/API) and ensure timely deliveries through strong stakeholder engagement and release governance. This role offers scope to influence data models, vendor integrations, and AI-ready data use cases at scale.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of business and functional requirements, epics, and user stories for Corporate Action initiatives
- Drive product backlog management, refinement, and sprint prioritization
- Lead data modelling and mapping across vendors and internal feeds
- Perform data mining, profiling, transformation, and SQL-based validation
- Collaborate with Clients, Operations, IT, and PMO to align on roadmap and delivery
- Define interface strategy for Web GUI and API
- Coordinate engagements with Data Providers and Vendors
- Define and govern Golden Copy rules and vendor source hierarchy logic
- Identify automation opportunities and AI-ready data use cases
- Manage stakeholder expectations, roadmap delivery, training, and release governance
Key requirements
- Working with senior stakeholders to capture business and product requirements
- Strong analytical skills with experience documenting specifications, epics, and user stories
- Expertise in Master/Reference Data space (preferred Instrument or Corporate Actions lifecycle)
- Validation and testing in collaboration with Dev/QA/Operations
- Experience with business process reengineering, modern architectures (Cloud, APIs)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and understanding of data models
