Overview
As VP Product Owner you will define and drive multi-year product strategy for data and capabilities across Institutional Credit Management. You will bridge business strategy, customer needs, architecture and engineering, engaging senior stakeholders to shape end-to-end solutions. You’ll own the product vision and road-map, deliver through cross-functional teams, and continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency and decision-making. This role puts you at the heart of Citi’s Enterprise Data Office, shaping data-enabled risk management at scale.

Responsibilities
- Define and own multi-quarter/ multi-year product strategy aligned to priorities
- Manage complex cross-functional stakeholder ecosystems
- Engage senior business stakeholders to diagnose problems and design data-driven solutions
- Create a product vision and road-map linked to delivery
- Act as primary stakeholder contact and data analytics SME, providing regular progress updates
- Identify opportunities to improve products and processes for efficiency
- Identify data patterns and provide insights to business stakeholders
- Collaborate with Risk, Product and Technology to incorporate trends into strategy
Key requirements
- Ability to connect enterprise strategy to engineering delivery and understand downstream impacts
- Experience in product development, credit risk or banking tech
- Credit risk knowledge and experience
- Data, analytics, and data visualization (BI) experience
- End-to-end project delivery with visualization tools and SQL/Python data manipulation
- Strong communication to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Proactive, self-motivated, multi-project management in fast-paced environments
- Keen attention to detail and process/analytic mindset
