Overview
As a Senior Developer at Citi Tech, you will deliver critical e-trading applications within the Markets Business Risk and Control Technology Inventory team, shaping future-state architecture and maintaining production-quality software. You will drive CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps improvements to speed and reliability. You’ll translate complex business needs into technical specs and ensure robust documentation and risk-aware delivery. This role offers mentorship, fast-paced delivery, and exposure to cutting-edge tech in a globally scaled finance ecosystem.

Responsibilities
- Deliver business-focused software with an eye toward future state architecture
- Champion CI/CD best practices and automated testing
- Improve SDLC, agile, and DevOps processes using metrics (DORA)
- Participate in design, planning and estimation discussions
- Gather requirements and translate them into technical specs
- Create and maintain project and technical documentation
- Identify and mitigate SDLC risks and propose solutions
- Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
- Contribute to production support and collaborate with operations and stakeholders
- Analyze issue patterns to drive continuous improvements and guide documentation efforts

- Extensive experience in system analysis and software programming
- Experience managing and delivering successful projects
- Subject Matter Expert in at least one Applications Development area
