Overview
As IT Project Lead at Citi, you drive large-scale transformation programs across technology and operations, owning end-to-end delivery and measurable outcomes. You will guide cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, blending PMO discipline with Agile practices to deliver high-impact initiatives on time and within budget. Responsibilities
- Lead multiple large transformation projects with clear scope, budget, timelines, and measurable outcomes
- Define scope and objectives with technology, operations, and business teams and translate needs into executable PMO-aligned plans
- Apply Agile and Scrum to manage iterative delivery, including sprint ceremonies and backlog management
- Produce executive-status updates, risk logs, and milestone reporting for senior stakeholders and clients
- Identify risks, perform root-cause analysis, resolve blockers, and escalate control concerns transparently
- Coach teams on task decomposition, dependency management, and lessons learned
- Communicate milestones, escalations, and change decisions to all parties to maintain alignment
- Ensure adherence to Citi's risk, regulatory, and ethical standards
Key requirements
- 6–10 years of project management experience in financial services or similarly regulated environments
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale transformation with measurable outcomes
- Hands-on Agile and Scrum experience, including Scrum Master capabilities
- Advanced Excel skills for metrics and data analysis, plus polished PowerPoint presentations
- Ability to develop and manage project plans, track dependencies, assess scope changes, and communicate impacts
- Proficiency in MS Project, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat Professional; strong MS Office skills
