Team/Role Overview

The SVP, Services Sales AI — Pillar Execution & Client Intelligence Lead is a senior operating role responsible for driving end-to-end delivery across the core pillars of the Services Sales AI Program. This individual will own the operational execution of client engagement initiatives, intelligence capture processes, and commercialisation activities, while also serving as the primary liaison between the AI Program Office and the Services product and sales communities. Working closely with the Director and the dedicated Programme Resource, the SVP will lead the bi-weekly Steering Team agenda, oversee the Intelligence & Product Development Lifecycle pillar, co-lead Client Engagement activities, and ensure that AI insights and use cases are captured, synthesised, and channelled effectively into commercial and product development decisions. This role requires a combination of strong programme management capability, deep client and market intelligence expertise, and proven ability to drive senior cross-functional coordination.

What you’ll do

  • Programme Execution & Steering Team Leadership: Lead the operational delivery of the Services Sales AI Program. Manage the bi-weekly Steering Team cadence: prepare agendas, coordinate cross-pillar updates, track actions, and ensure momentum across all six workstreams.
  • Intelligence, Feedback & Product Development Lifecycle: Own the Intelligence pillar. Build and operate structured mechanisms for capturing client requirements, competitive intelligence, emerging AI trends, and use case insights from across the Services sales community. Synthesise intelligence into actionable reports, investment ideas, and product feedback for EXCO consumption.
  • AI Client Engagement Execution: Support and co-ordinate AI client engagement across the community, including co-creation sessions, innovation workshops, and client conversations. Manage the AI engagement tracker, ensuring all interactions are logged and insights captured.
  • Commercialisation & Campaign Support: Partner with relevant teams in the Campaigns, Commercialisation, Marketing & Content pillar. Support development of AI thought leadership, client narratives, commercial positioning content, and event programming.
  • Sales Assist Governance & Adoption: Partner with relevant teams to oversee Sales Assist adoption and enablement across Services communities. Drive user feedback capture, feature prioritisation, and governance processes to continuously improve platform effectiveness.
  • Monthly Community Calls & Communications: Lead or co-lead the monthly Services Sales AI community calls. Facilitate best-practice sharing, promote AI adoption, surface opportunities and trends, and ensure intelligence flows from community engagements back into the programme.
  • ExCo Reporting Preparation: Prepare comprehensive ExCo reporting packs covering AI engagement trends, client & competitive intelligence, adoption & productivity metrics, emerging use cases, and investment recommendations for presentation by the Director.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Maintain strong working relationships with pillar leads, community leads (FI Sales, CCPS, CCB, Issuer, Banking & GNB), Marketing, Client Advisory, and AI Central Team. Manage stakeholder expectations and coordinate interdependencies across the programme.

What we’ll need from you

  • Relevant experience in financial services, preferably in Sales, Product, or Strategy functions.
  • Strong track record in programme management and cross-functional delivery at scale.
  • Demonstrated experience in intelligence capture, market analysis, and translating insights into commercial recommendations.
  • Solid understanding of AI/GenAI technologies and their application in financial services sales contexts.
  • Proven ability to lead senior stakeholder engagement and governance forums.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including executive-level reporting.
  • Experience in facilitation of workshops, innovation sessions, and client engagement events.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Citi's Services product portfolio and internal sales communities.
  • Experience with Sales Assist, CRM platforms, or AI-powered productivity tools.
  • Background in competitive intelligence, product management, or commercialisation.
  • Experience building and managing content for client-facing or commercial programmes.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
