Are you looking for a career move that will put you at the heart of a global financial institution?

Then bring your skills in analysis, problem solving and communication to Citi’s Global Payments team.

By Joining Citi, you will become part of a global organisation whose mission is to serve as a trusted partner to our clients by responsibly providing financial services that enable growth and economic progress.

Team/Role Overview

Citi is hiring a Senior Product Manager to drive the commercialization and growth of Citi Verify, a data verification product within the Global Payments organization.

As part of Payments Data Services — a team operating across Data Governance, Analytics, and client-facing product capabilities — you will work with an established delivery team to scale the product, deepen client engagement, and shape its continued development.

This is a senior individual contributor role for a product manager who thrives on ownership, client impact, and cross-functional collaboration.

What you’ll do

  • Lead go-to-market execution for Citi Verify, including client value propositions, segmentation, pricing, channel strategies, and competitive positioning.
  • Develop and maintain the Citi Verify product roadmap, prioritizing enhancements and launches that deliver measurable commercial and client outcomes.
  • Conduct client and competitor research to track market trends, identify product gaps, and inform strategic decisions across the product lifecycle.
  • Engage directly with clients through co-creation activities to validate product direction and translate client needs into actionable product requirements.
  • Partner with delivery, analytics, and business stakeholders to align priorities, resolve blockers, and keep the product on track against commercial targets.
  • Monitor product financial performance, contribute to revenue and acquisition goals, and surface gaps in business plans for timely resolution.
  • Ensure product decisions are made with clear awareness of risk, regulatory requirements, and sound business judgment, escalating issues transparently where needed.

What we’ll need from you

  • Significant product management experience, with a track record of owning product strategy and delivery from roadmap through to commercial outcomes.
  • Working knowledge across marketing, product development, acquisitions, or analytics, with the ability to apply that knowledge to real product decisions.
  • Experience in payments, data services, or financial services product management.
  • Background in analytics-driven product development, including using data to validate product decisions and measure commercial performance.
  • Experience providing guidance or informal mentorship to other product managers within a team setting.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build alignment across stakeholders, challenge constructively, and drive decisions forward in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Analytical skills applied to market data and competitive landscapes, with the ability to translate findings into clear and prioritised product actions.
  • Ability to manage complex workstreams independently, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and make decisions confidently under pressure.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to align stakeholders across functions and levels of seniority.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent university qualification.
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline such as business, marketing, or a quantitative field.

What we can offer you

Payments Data Services sits at an interesting intersection within Citi's Global Payments organisation, connecting data infrastructure with products that reach clients directly.

In this role, you will have genuine ownership of a product that is already in market and actively growing, with the support of an experienced team around you.

  • Direct ownership of Citi Verify, a product already in active delivery, giving you immediate scope to make an impact rather than starting from scratch.
  • Hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.
  • Broad exposure across Citi's Global Payments ecosystem, including data, analytics, and client-facing teams, with opportunities to build a wide professional network.
  • A performance-driven environment where product decisions are visible and outcomes are measurable, giving your work clear relevance to the business.
  • Access to learning and development resources to support continued growth in product management and financial services.
  • Competitive financial wellbeing benefits and a total rewards package aligned to the seniority of the role.

We work hard to have a positive financial and social impact on the communities we serve.

In turn, we put our employees first and provide the best-in-class benefits they need to be well, live well and save well.

  • Generous holiday allowance starting at 27 days plus bank holidays; increasing with tenure
  • A discretional annual performance related bonus
  • Private medical insurance packages to suit your personal circumstances
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Pension Plan
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Special discounts for employees, family, and friends
