By joining Citi, you will become part of a global organisation whose mission is to serve as a trusted partner to our clients by responsibly providing financial services that enable growth and economic progress.
Team/Role Overview:
Citi Issuer Services is a leading provider of corporate trust services depositary receipts. We continue to be a leader in the industry through our consultative solutions, technical expertise and talent. Globally, Citi Issuer Services offers a full array of fiduciary, agency, depositary, escrow, and administrative services across the debt capital markets and administers more than US $9.0 trillion in assets under trust supporting over 3,500 clients. Citi Issuer Services provides a comprehensive range of support for capital market and corporate finance/development activities, tailoring solutions to meet individual client needs.
AI is now central to this mission. As Issuer leads the market’s transition to a natively digital marketplace, Citi is leveraging the enterprise-wide AI capabilities across Issuer to support our scalability and drive value across the full client and internal operations spectrum — from driving digitally native data and risk controls, to productivity tooling and client‑facing intelligent services.
The SVP, AI Execution Manager will be a key strategic and executional leader for this agenda — a role that is simultaneously commercial, technical, risk‑aware, and advocacy‑driven.
Strategic Mandate:
The AI Agenda for Issuer: This role spans the full AI value chain for Issuer Services — balancing innovation with commercial discipline, and opportunity with responsible governance.
- Client‑Facing AI Capabilities: Build AI‑powered solutions and services that deliver measurable value to Issuer Services clients across a broad range of global market products.
- Internal AI & Productivity: Champion AI adoption for internal teams — identifying, prioritizing, and deploying tools that improve operational efficiency, accelerate cycle times, and augment team capabilities across Issuer.
- Commercial Mindset & P&L: Apply rigorous commercial discipline to AI investment decisions — evaluating use cases by ROI, revenue potential, cost impact, and strategic fit to ensure every AI initiative drives measurable business value.
- Responsible AI & Risk Controls: Ensure AI capabilities are built with robust controls aligned to enterprise risk frameworks — addressing model risk, data governance, explainability, fairness, and regulatory compliance from day one.
What you’ll do:
- Drive & Execute the AI Strategy: Manage significant components of the Global AI Product roadmap for Issuer Services — contributing to the strategic vision, prioritizing use cases, and driving execution from concept through commercialization. Balance innovation ambition with business pragmatism and P&L accountability.
- Build Client‑Facing AI Products: Identify, design, and deliver AI‑powered capabilities that create differentiated value for Issuer Services clients — spanning a wide range of AI capabilities integrated tightly within internal and client‑facing platforms. Partner with clients directly to validate and co‑create solutions.
- Champion Internal AI & Productivity: Lead the identification and deployment of AI tools that enhance internal operations and team productivity across Issuer — including process automation, intelligent decisioning, and Gen AI productivity capabilities. Lead the primary internal advocacy for responsible AI adoption and culture change.
- Apply Commercial Discipline to AI Investment: Evaluate AI opportunities through a commercial lens — developing business cases, assessing P&L implications, estimating revenue impact, and driving clear prioritization trade‑offs. Ensure AI spend translates into measurable financial outcomes.
- Embed Responsible AI & Enterprise Controls: Ensure all AI capabilities are built in line with Citi's enterprise risk standards — establishing model risk governance, data lineage, explainability standards, fairness testing, and regulatory compliance controls. Proactively address ethical AI considerations across all product decisions.
- Build & Manage a Wide Stakeholder Ecosystem: Cultivate deep partnerships across Sales, Product, Technology, Operations, Finance, Compliance, Risk, and Legal. Navigate a matrixed organization, build consensus across competing priorities, and drive alignment on AI strategy at every level of the organization.
- Drive Agile, Outcomes‑Led Delivery: Operate with an agile mindset — setting ambitious but achievable OKRs, monitoring KPIs closely, and using a test‑learn‑iterate approach to accelerate time‑to‑market. Manage AI product development in close collaboration with technology teams using modern delivery practices.
- Lead Global Rollout & Scaling: Manage the geographic expansion of AI capabilities across our global market footprint — adapting solutions to local regulatory requirements, market dynamics, and client‑needs while maintaining global design consistency and reusability.
- Represent the AI Domain & be its Champion: Serve as a senior voice and champion for AI within Issuer Services and the broader Services organization. Articulate the AI vision to leadership, clients, and external partners. Foster a culture of AI curiosity, experimentation, and literacy across the Issuer Services team.
