Role / Position Overview:
This is an Subject Matter Expert position responsible for Roles within Issuance settlements team which covering both Fixed Income and Equity products across Multiple Markets and Regions.
This is a great opportunity to further career and current team in developing and Growing an already high profile team across Belfast and London who directly interact with global clients, exchanges, and central securities depositories (CSDs) and support our BCMA and Other trading desks across 3 key regions (Europe, Asian and the United States) across different bespoke roles.
The team is responsible for monitoring asset creation, High value Issuer payments and the timely settlement of the actual issuances within applicable markets covering various Types across Equity and Fixed income products, including but not limited to IPOs, Block deals, Medium Term Note issuances as well as Fixed income new issues.
This is a high-profile global team with exposure to large value trades and at times high volume. The role involves daily engagement with clients, legal, internal stakeholders, and 3rd party vendors.
What you’ll do:

Resolve settlement related issues and escalate as needed; recommend solutions to resolve complex issues

Prioritizing daily workload efficiently to strict meet deadlines
-
Help Develop and implement change initiatives, client solutions, or projects affiliated with securities and derivatives settlement on issuance creation and settlement.

Solve complex inquiries, conduct discovery and complete due diligence activities for client requests and internal stakeholders.

Contribute to improving processing standards and expectations for securities and derivatives teams, alongside Develop policies, and procedures that offer solutions and cost saving opportunities

Manage daily performance related to securities and derivatives post-settlement activities of operations processes covering MIS and settlement efficiency stats related to issuance processes.

Coordinate with internal and external clients to assess service quality and identify areas for improvement on an ongoing basis.
