Within Securities Services, the Data & Client Platform team runs the data and reporting products and is responsible for building the future of data for Securities Services which includes cloud technologies. This team seeks an experienced Vice President Product Manager (Product Developer) to join our London team to manage client requests.
What you’ll do:
As part of our group of innovative thinkers, you’ll be at the forefront of disrupting and revolutionizing the industry, tackling complex challenges to meet the needs of both our internal and external clients. In this role, you will manage core data assets pertaining to Custody for the entire data lifecycle from data origination all the way to consumption across multiple internal and external use cases.

Use your strong analytical skills to identify, collect, organize, analyze, clean and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, identify data sources, and collect and preprocess data.

Work with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize business use cases, provide comprehensive data management, and support data pipelines.

Define and document processes to improve and optimize future opportunities.

Interpret trends and patterns in complex datasets using statistical techniques to provide ongoing insights across the Financial Services offering and influence our development roadmap.

Guide, influence, and convince colleagues in other areas to adopt the latest technologies and framework to support Citi’s global data strategy.

Use some of the latest technologies and business intelligence tools across AWS, Snowflake, Dataiku, Starburst and more.

Significant number of years relevant business data analysis experience.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science/business management/engineering, advanced degree is a plus.

Strong data analysis skill (e.g. SQL) along with an understanding of technical patterns used to consume and process data at scale.

Experience with leading digital initiatives as a Product Owner in Agile development process.

Extensive experience working with engineers and developers to understand what is technically possible, how to translate customer’s needs into technical requirements that delivers scalable, reliable, and standardized data solutions.

Strategic, results-driven and passionate about designing best-in-class digital experiences and staying at the forefront of cutting-edge technology in the servicing space.

Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams and organizations to get the job done.

A proven track record of problem-solving, adaptability, and creativity in addressing complex challenges.

Familiarity with Securities Services Custody business processes such as Settlement and Asset Servicing, and specifically working with Custody data is extremely desirable.

Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Google BigQuery, Snowflake).

Experience working in a specific industry (finance, healthcare, retail, etc.).
