About the Team

Prime Services Technology supports a rapidly growing business that uses technological innovation to maintain competitive advantage in a constantly evolving market. You would regularly work with a range of high-profile stakeholders, business, external vendors/auditors and internal technology teams. You would also be part of Risk and Control team to coordinate and manage Data Concerns/Quality Issues across Prime Services organization.

Role

The Program Manager accomplishes results through the management of professional team(s) and department(s). Contributes to standards around which others will operate. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Requires basic commercial awareness. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas. Accountable for the end to end results of an area. Has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness and delivery of end results of an area.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of programs
  • Drive multiple projects simultaneously requiring the ability to multi-task
  • Understanding Business priorities and working as a liaison between Business and Development teams
  • Track/monitor day-to-day project status changes and prioritization changes
  • Executive reporting on project statuses and roadmaps for technology and business partners and sponsors
  • Applies in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the subfunction as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function; and, requires basic commercial awareness
  • Ensures essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards
  • Manage expectations and apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices
  • Install a culture of continuous process improvements by applying lessons learned from recent projects to future projects
  • Manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time, and risk
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm\’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years\’ of experience in a relevant Program/Project Management role.
  • Strong Audit and Risk experience, gained in a banking/financial services setting.
  • Understanding and exposure to Data Quality improvement initiatives
  • Excellent communication and presentation skill, business user interaction, issue management and status update
  • Significant exposure to structured project management techniques and familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Expertise on Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint presentation, Confluence, JIRA
  • Experience managing and delivering complex technical projects
  • Superior planning, organization, project management and analytical skills as well as attention to detail

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
