Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to kick start your career at Citi! We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic team players, with a strong work ethic, to join our Middle Office. The overall objective of the team is to help ensure all transactions are booked correctly and allocated within our systems as well as all assigned controls and reconciliations are monitored.
What you’ll do
- Providing support to Front Office Sales and Trading desks across all FX products such as Spots, Forwards, NDFs and Options
- Maintain and manage daily tasks including but not limited to trade reconciliations, trade blotters, management control reports, and trade statuses
- Perform analyses of discrepancies to help resolve trade issues or client queries
- Participate in projects where required including new products, platform upgrades or process improvements
- Ensure assigned procedures are updated, completed and maintained across assigned processes
- Provide training and or guidance to more junior team members
- Ask questions, challenge processes, and continue to learn
What we’ll need from you
- Intermediate experience with Excel and Word, gained either in school or a corporate setting
- Efficient and effective with numerical tasks and transactions
- Proven success working in a team environment
- Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills

Successful candidates will attend a three week Market Operations Training Academy. This aims to help you understand how Markets Operations work and where your role fits in in Citi while also providing you with all the tools needed to be the best you can be in your new role.
