Team & Function Overview
This role is part of the global Market Data Services team, a function responsible for the strategy, operations, inventory management, business analysis, and reporting of all market data expenses. Our team utilizes the Optimize Spend platform to manage these services efficiently.
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Market Data Ordering Analyst. This role is central to the order management of market data services, acting as a key liaison between vendors, internal stakeholders, and business advisors. Your primary objective will be to ensure user requests and profiles are fulfilled with precision and efficiency.
What you’ll do
- Order Management Support: Manage service queues through the Optimize Spend (formerly FITS) system to consistently meet and exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with vendors, Market Data stakeholders, and Business Advisors to accurately fulfil user requirements.
- Vendor Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliations of vendor services to ensure accuracy, identify discrepancies, and support financial integrity.
- Query Management Support: Serve as a central point of contact for resolving queries from a diverse range of stakeholders, including Vendors, Business Advisors, and Procurement.
- Process Improvement & Innovation: Collaborate with internal Market Data teams on complex queries and identify opportunities for process optimization, including the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation to drive efficiency.
- Project Contribution: Actively partner on strategic Market Data projects, contributing to key tasks and deliverables that shape the future of our services.
- Management Support: Provide crucial support to leadership by assisting with ad-hoc queries, and contributing to ongoing strategic initiatives.
What we’ll need from you
- Previous experience in a market data environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong IT Skills, particularly Excel.
- Prior experience working in an environment governed by Service Level Agreements (SLAs) is advantageous.
- A Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent work experience is required. Candidates who demonstrate the necessary skills and experience for the role will be considered.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly to various audiences.
- Have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and workflows effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of your work.
- A self-starter who remains confident and composed under pressure, driven by a strong desire to succeed and meet tight deadlines.
