Are you a senior product management professional ready to shape the future of Fund Services at one of the world's leading financial institutions? As a Middle Office Product Development Manager at Citi, you will own the planning, development, and execution of a high-impact Middle Office product roadmap — spanning operating model transformation, platform redesign, data capabilities, Agentic AI, and evolving client needs. This is a Vice President-level opportunity within Citi's Fund Services business, where your decisions will directly influence product strategy, client outcomes, and the direction of a globally significant business.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic product development and transformation initiatives across the Funds Middle Office, ensuring each program aligns with business objectives and delivers measurable outcomes for clients and the business.
- Manage the end-to-end execution of complex, cross-functional programs by coordinating across product, technology, and operations teams to achieve consistent and timely delivery of the Middle Office product roadmap.
- Champion Agile ways of working across Middle Office Agile Release Trains, mentoring Product Owners, guiding adherence to Agile best practices, and contributing to Program Increment planning and reporting.
- Translate high-level business strategy into actionable product development plans, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to maintain delivery momentum and protect the integrity of committed outcomes.
- Bridge business requirements, product vision, and technical implementation by developing scalable solutions — including the deployment of AI frameworks — to accelerate time to market and improve operational efficiency.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of core Middle Office products — including Trade Matching, Settlement, IBOR, Performance, Client Reporting, and Post Trade Compliance — to guide product decisions and ensure effective integration across the operating model.
- Build and advance data capabilities across the business, including data quality control frameworks and real-time client data offerings, while fostering a data-first culture within the team.
- Engage senior internal stakeholders and external clients to gather feedback, communicate product progress, and align on future-state vision, ensuring Citi's Fund Services business remains a preferred partner in the market.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Significant experience in product management or business analysis, with direct exposure to Middle Office functions within a Funds Services environment.
- Deep knowledge of core Middle Office services including Trade Matching, Settlement, and Investment Book of Record (IBOR) management and oversight.
- Hands-on experience with AI and machine learning automation projects, applied to process improvement or the development of new product features.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities across complex, multi-functional programs while adapting to shifting requirements and tight timelines.
- Strong ability to influence and collaborate across a broad range of stakeholders including Operations, Technology, Controls, Compliance, Legal, and Finance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, and drive initiatives forward without close direction.
- A collaborative team player who builds productive working relationships across functions and seniority levels to achieve shared outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's degree.

- Familiarity with Order Management Systems such as Charles River, Aladdin, Bloomberg AIM, or Simcorp.
- Exposure to digital assets, distributed ledger technology-based trading strategies, or cryptocurrency fund administration.
- Experience partnering with external vendors or technology alliances to co-develop products or manage strategic agreements.
- Background in managing multi-function or globally distributed programs at scale.
- Experience in or exposure to private markets — including private equity, private credit, real assets, or infrastructure — as Citi continues to develop and expand its private markets servicing capability across Fund Services.
