Citi Futures & OTC Clearing Technology supports a rapidly growing business that uses technological innovation to maintain competitive advantage in a constantly evolving market. Working closely with the business, external vendors and internal technology teams, you would build-out and maintain our next generation ETD and OTC clearing platforms. You would manage complex projects that will involve everything from incorporating a new functionality within the existing ecosystem, to analyzing new requirements, documenting solutions, managing implementation and testing systems, ensuring that they are fit for purpose. You would regularly work with a range of high-profile stakeholders.

The Lead OTC Clearing BA/PM is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Lead integration of functions with understanding of client core business functions and partner with multiple senior management teams to meet goals and deploy new products and process enhancements.
• Solve the highest-impact, highest-profile problems with significant business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards.
• Influence and negotiate with senior leaders (across functions) and communicate with external parties as needed.
• Contribute to technical direction and strategic decisions as a technical expert in all development and implementation phases, providing in-depth and sophisticated analyses to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Conduct management activities, including resource management, work allocation, mentoring/coaching and other duties and functions as assigned.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What you will bring:

• Extensive experience with a proven track record of managing large-scale global projects within the Futures and OTC Clearing product domain.
• Expertise in OTC Clearing Derivatives trade processing and lifecycle workflows.
• Deep knowledge of the OTC Billing with a strong understanding of the data elements driving these workflows.
• Practical working knowledge of OTC Clearing Product Processor, with specialization in the reference data landscape within this system.
• Advanced data analysis skills, leveraging tools such as Excel and Python to support enhanced data processing and insights.
• Extensive exposure to structured project management techniques, with familiarity in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proven experience in managing and delivering complex technical projects.
• Strong technical background with expertise in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and stakeholder management in a global, dynamic environment.
• Exceptional listening, presentation, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills to engage diverse audiences and build consensus.
• Superior planning, organizational, project management, and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to mobilize and motivate teams in a collaborative and cooperative working environment.
• Skilled in identifying issues, generating solutions, and selecting appropriate alternatives using root cause analysis and cost-benefit evaluation.
• Excellent time management, follow-through, and project delivery capabilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple concurrent projects effectively.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders and collaborate across complex organizational structures.
• Advanced proficiency in tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, Confluence, and JIRA.
• Proactive, self-motivated professional with the ability to hit the ground running.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and productivity tools.
• Leverage automation and AI‑enabled tools to improve productivity, reporting, and delivery discipline.
