Responsibilities:
- Leverage past investment banking or related experience to enhance Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) execution, capital market and capital raising capabilities within the team.
- Build client relationships by providing sophisticated financial solutions tailored to the clients’ needs and acting as a content provider on market trends.
- Serve as the expert on regulatory, financial and complex strategic issues relating to corporate finance transactions.
- Ensure that proposed client solutions meet or exceed internal risk and return standards, including stringent ethical standards.
- Anticipate future changes in the marketplace and deepen industry expertise.
- Serve as a mentor to junior bankers, executing staffing models that support business needs and career trajectories for junior staff.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the firm, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy and applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Meet revenue and other financial goals by establishing and maintaining a pipeline of episodic deals.
Recommended Qualifications:
- Experience working in an investment banking institution(s) or real-estate private equity.
- Experience in people management.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or closely related areas of Business Administration preferred.
- Master's degree in Business Administration preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Certification:
This role is a Certified Role subject to the FCA and PRA Certification Regime.
