Team/Role Overview
This is an entry-level role within the futures team in Belfast. This is a great opportunity to join a high performing & welcoming team, who directly interact numerous areas of the bank, including front office trading. This role is focused primarily on trade clearing at numerous EU and UK Clearing houses (CCPs) β ensuring that the books and records of the firm are kept in line with what is cleared in the real world.
What you will do:
- Working with exchange traded derivatives (ETD) ensuring trades clear in good time
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to collectively create a best in class offering for our clients
- Maintain and update static data where needed
- Utilize your fresh perspective to suggest process improvements
What we will need from you:
- Previous relevant experience preferable but not essential
- Fundamental understanding of treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies
- Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of macros
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
