Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Vice President to lead the transformation initiatives within our Global Middle Office Operations. This pivotal role will collaborate closely with operations, technology, and change management partners to drive the design and implementation of advanced technology platforms and a refined operating model. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the entire Investment Operations lifecycle, including Trade Management, the publication of the Investment Book of Records (IBOR), and associated data requirements. Additionally, this role encompasses responsibility for program management practices, including policy formulation, planning, and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership: Manage and drive the day‑to‑day delivery of multiple complex programs, ensuring meticulous planning, control, and execution against milestones and budget.
- Team Management: Lead and develop a team of Project/Program Management professionals or oversee a functional area, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders and organizational partners across operations, technology, and business units.
- Strategic Alignment: Direct the creation and alignment of multiple work projects with overarching business goals and strategic objectives.
- Process Adherence: Champion adherence to project processes, procedures, methods, and standards for project delivery, leveraging best practices across the managed portfolio.
- Cross‑Functional Facilitation: Lead the facilitation, coordination, and arbitration of macro‑level cross‑functional topics within and across programs, escalating insights to Senior Management.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and drive the resolution of complex issues, including those that extend beyond established project scopes.
Qualifications:
- Extensive Investment Operations Expertise: Comprehensive experience within Investment Operations, coupled with a strong understanding of clients’ operational objectives, market dynamics, and operational platforms.
- Leadership and Development: Proven track record in leading and developing project teams and professionals, driving dynamic growth, achieving cost efficiencies, and strategic capacity planning.
- Financial Services Acumen: Significant experience in financial services, with demonstrated proficiency in client management.
- Program Management Excellence: A history of standardizing and implementing robust procedures and policies across program and project management practices.
- Relationship Management: Exceptional relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels.
- Organizational Prowess: Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Executive Communication: Strong executive presence, with the ability to articulate insights clearly, influence decisions, and a solid working knowledge of various project methodologies.
