We are seeking a forward-thinking, execution-focused VP to lead innovation, automation, and simplification in our Controls Strategy & Innovation team. This role is central to how we modernize the way we work – delivering real, measurable impact through process automation, AI use cases, and practical redesign of workflows and handoffs. This role will focus on end-to-end operational process improvements, helping us eliminate friction, reduce manual effort, and scale what works. You’ll also help translate ideas into clear visuals and proposals, supporting leadership’s decision-making.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at simplifying complex processes, delivering scalable solutions, and bringing structure to fast-moving, high-impact work.

  • Processing Automation & AI: Own the pipeline for process improvement ideas, partnering with teams to identify opportunities, design solutions, and implement automation or AI.
  • Innovation Intake & Governance: Launch and manage a clear intake process to prioritize, track, and scale innovation opportunities.
  • Simplification: Rethink how our team operates, eliminating handoffs and duplications.
  • Execution Support: Partner with other team leads to ensure automation and simplification align with broader team priorities.
  • Presentation & Communication: Create clear, simple, and visual PowerPoint updates that showcase innovation progress and highlight the impact.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate across teams to ensure change is practical and tied to measurable results.

What we’ll need from you:

  • Experience leading operational transformation, automation, or innovation efforts.
  • Familiarity with process design, AI use cases or workflow tools.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset: able to identify root causes and design practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and PowerPoint storytelling skills: able to clearly show impact and next steps.
