Responsibilities
- Work with teams across FX Technology to implement solutions that benefit the business.
- Drive the design and development of system architecture, work with end-users, and enhance the quality of deliverables.
- Contribute to defining and implementing best practices and processes for the department, ensuring transparency and consistency across teams.
- Work directly with trading and quant teams.
- Maintain documentation and policies for system deployments and filings.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of building new systems, replacing legacy systems, and renovating existing systems.
- Understanding of low-latency development practices.
- Systems (software, hardware, networks) knowledge required to define solutions and troubleshoot issues.
- Exceptional communicator, confident at all levels.
- Highly credible hands-on engineer, able to deep dive into a product and codebase, offering detailed, constructive analysis and feedback.
- Aware of industry trends and leveraging new technologies as appropriate.
- Demonstrated passion for delivering FX technology in support of a global FX business.
- Proven understanding of FX highly preferred.
