The IT Business Lead Analyst is a senior‑level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead elicitation and analysis of complex business needs from structured products traders, sales and operations.
  • Translate needs into clear functional and non‑functional requirements and produce detailed functional specs, user stories and process flow diagrams.
  • Apply in‑depth knowledge of structured products (equity‑linked, credit‑linked, interest rate, FX hybrids, securitized products) across their lifecycle.
  • Partner closely with the Platform team to manage expectations and ensure alignment for all levels of seniority (Sales, Structuring, Trading).
  • Collaborate with QA to define test strategy and review test plans; document acceptance criteria for automated BDD testing.

Qualifications:

  • Strong background in trading technology with experience in equity derivatives, preferably OTC and notes.
  • Direct experience with structured products (fixed income, equity/credit derivatives) and a proven track record delivering complex technology projects on time.
  • Knowledge of pricing, risk, trade processing and order management for structured products.
  • SQL proficiency and familiarity working with APIs; experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, derivatives, risk management and the structured products trade lifecycle.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills (written and verbal), stakeholder management, organized and proactive.
