Responsibilities
- Developing and structuring defeasance solutions that support the growth of the wider Trade business across a range of products and geographies.
- Smooth execution of day to day sales to support origination activities and compliance with other metrics such as credit limits, Risk Weighted Asset targets, return metrics etc.
- Engagement and relationship building with external investors and partners.
- Work with colleagues in Risk, Legal, Compliance and other departments to establish the frameworks and ensure the activities of the desk operate within Citi's robust Risk and Control environment.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
What you’ll do
- Conduct market reads for specific deals and markets and ensure appropriate sharing of market intelligence and reverse origination opportunities.
- Support the end to end execution of trades across asset classes and distribution/defeasance tools.
- Assist senior colleagues with investor engagement and relationship building.
- Understand and execute against the Global Product Programs and the Local Country Addenda in country where these structured and complex Trade transactions are occurring.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years relevant experience.
- Credit Risk and Trade Product experience.
- Credit Risk Structuring or Credit Risk Management Experience.
- Tertiary level qualification.
