Responsibilities
- Work across EMEA with financial institutions, fintechs, private equity firms, hedge funds, governments and corporates to originate, execute and close public and private securitisation of financial assets, and provide asset advisory services.
- Originate and execute securitisation and advisory roles across multiple asset classes (e. g., SME loans, consumer loans, auto loans and leases, credit cards, residential mortgages).
- Organise large databases, model expected loss and asset values, and assemble presentations for stakeholders.
- Partner closely with internal control functions—Legal, Compliance, and Risk—to ensure appropriate governance and controls.
- Negotiate tranching levels with rating agencies and work with lawyers to document transactions.
- Collaborate with partners across Citi to develop new clients and assist in expanding securitisation into new asset classes and jurisdictions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher university degree.
- Structured finance experience and knowledge of rating agency processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships internally and externally.
- Analytical skills; knowledge of VBA and/or Python is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work across disciplines.
- Fluency in an additional European language is helpful but not mandatory.
