Responsibilities
- Engage with multiple senior stakeholders within the firm (e. g. business and finance).
- Support on various data efforts, including database administration, data analysis, maintenance, data quality, and database management or architecture/design engineering.
- Follow and enhance standard guidelines, best practices, and identify/resolve data‑related issues in a timely manner.
- Support workflow or process change and redesign of the multiple data feeds and analytics.
- Be accountable for regular reporting and process administration.
- Work with the technology team and partner with the data quality team to implement projects.
- Support day‑to‑day work of junior employees, without typically having a formal management role.
- Evaluate complex issues with substantial potential impact, weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information.
- Prepare presentations and analysis for the team and in support of the CFO organisation.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation, and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
- Adhere to policy, apply sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications
- Experience as Analytics Manager, Strategic Business Analyst, or related position performing quantitative analytics supporting financial services.
- Fluency in financial and capital data for a financial institution.
- Strong analytical skills to filter, prioritise and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources.
- Bachelor’s or university degree; master’s degree preferred.
