Team/Role Overview

What you’ll do

  • Lead contract management and administration activities across a broad range of products and services working closely with Clients and Citi stakeholders.
  • Work with stakeholders at various levels across Lines of businesses, such as Sales, Legal, Product, Information Security, Operations and Technology to drive compliance with all contractual obligations.
  • Manage the end-to-end contracting process for assigned projects, ensuring optimal commercial terms and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure quality, timeliness, and satisfaction of all internal and external contract requirements.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills: ability to build relationships, influence and negotiate with stakeholders and Clients.
  • Support all sorts of execution activities, including providing coherent and concise communications detailing status, progress via agreed contractual formats.
  • Escalate as necessary and keep senior management informed of key issues.

The successful individual ideally has a background in front line roles facing institutional clients, possesses a good understanding of Contract Management and negotiation, stakeholder & process leadership and continuous improvement and governance.

What we’ll need from you

  • Extensive experience in financial services being well versed in Contract Terms & Conditions, legal guidelines, obligations.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on orientation with the demonstrated ability to find and deliver solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build relationships and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Prior success working in a large, highly-matrix and complex organisation.
  • Client focus; record of achievement in applying a client mindset to shape solutions and approaches.
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred.
