This is an intermediate-level management position for an experienced leader who will guide a team in managing the processing of securities and derivatives orders and transactions. The primary objective is to ensure seamless delivery and operational excellence within the Transaction Services team.

What you'll do

  • Address and resolve complex settlement issues, acting as a subject matter expert.
  • Interpret policies and guidelines, escalating critical issues as necessary.
  • Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for enhancement and recommend process improvements to senior management.
  • Utilize expertise in securities and derivatives settlement to analyze data, prepare comprehensive reports, and present findings to leadership.
  • Identify gaps in current policies and develop new guidelines to streamline work processes.
  • Participate in and support key projects, including initiatives focused on enhancing trade flow processes.
  • Interpret market and operational data to inform recommendations for new product launches, service enhancements, and platform upgrades.
  • Provide mentorship and on-the-job training to new team members, fostering their growth and development.
  • Proactively identify and resolve errors, adhering strictly to audit and control policies to minimize institutional risk.
  • Exercise sound judgment in all business decisions, prioritise the firm’s reputation and safeguard client assets.
  • Drive compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, uphold Citi policies, and ensure effective supervision of team activities, promoting accountability.

What we'll need from you

  • Proven experience in reconciliation processes.
  • Beneficial experience within Markets Operations.
  • Knowledge of Futures (ETD) Clearing and/or ETD products is advantageous.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex information effectively across diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated capacity to succeed in dynamic, fast-paced environments, coupled with strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • A curious and energetic individual committed to continuous learning and proactive engagement in process improvements and team initiatives.
  • Highly logical, analytical, and rational approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Job Location & Working Hours
