Team/Role Overview: The Reconciliation & Proofing Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work‑flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub‑function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritise and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.
What you’ll do:
- Participate on projects across their lifecycle: identifying the problem, analysing root causes, developing solutions.
- Operate a change management process across project stakeholders changes to ensure all changes to scope clearly defined, control and financial impacts well understood and signed off prior to implementation.
- Develop, track and maintain project plans, the status of deliverables and the RAID log; manage project risk, issues, assumptions and dependencies with a strong focus on ensuring there are clear owners and resolution dates.
- Monitor and control all steps of the project through post‑implementation support period.
- Provide governance and oversight of new data onboarding, responsible for approving test packages for release.
- Develop relationships with support functions and senior leadership.
- Identify and communicate risks and impacts and propose risk mitigation options, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
- Test and monitor key controls which have been identified for each product line and document results.
- Liaise with business and line control officers on any deficiencies or control gaps.
- Ensure appropriate remedial actions are in place where deficiencies are identified.
- Documents, implements, and executes Corrective Action Plan (CAP) for management of control issues.
- Provide status updates to management on change requests.

- Have subject matter expert in one (or more) specific skill sets, business areas or products.
- Proven record of working on projects within team environment.
- Proactive problem solving experience.
- Applications will vary by product and business area.
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
