Job Summary: The Equity Finance team are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Test Engineer to join our team in Belfast. Citi is embarking on a bold multi-year transformation for the Prime Services business. If you are someone that can work in a fast-paced environment with a pragmatic approach to delivery and diligence, you will need to employ strong communication skills, ensure a first-class service of quality to our internal clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Java and SQL, with proven experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts through the use of practices such as BDD. Key Responsibilities: Implement and work within a BDD (Behaviour-Driven Development) automation framework. Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases, test estimation, regression testing, test automation development, and other project artifacts. Acting as a quality gate and identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs before software products are delivered to our clients. Implementation and execution of API based automation test for functional and non-functional testing using Citi approved tools. Identifying and highlighting ways to continuously optimize the way in which QA function operates to create an efficient, scalable team. Work with the business and Production Support to investigate issues and prevent production defects. Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
