We support a wide range of internal stakeholders including Front Office Sales and Trading Desks, Compliance, Legal, Finance and HR; alongside having significant interaction with external clients, playing a key role in the overall client experience. We are recruiting for a program manager to lead multiple global initiatives across Fixed Income Middle Office, spanning FX, Spread, Rates Commodities and Treasury business lines. Initiatives will cover but not limited to target operating model definition, regulatory, strategic re-architecture with a focus on reconciliation, risk and control and process improvement.
What you’ll do:
- Partner with operations to define and execute on target operating model.
- Responsible for the successful delivery of multiple projects and their alignment to business goals and target state.
- Execute established project management disciplines including the development of program governance and effective stakeholder management to drive planning and execution.
- Identify, prioritise and proactively manage dependencies, risks, exceptions and issues to resolution.
- Generate business requirements ensuring they are clearly documented and strategic in nature.
- Work with sponsors to ensure that there are measurable trackable, tangible benefits and associated KPIs.
- Work collaboratively with technology, ensuring there are clear delivery plans aligned to Operations strategic requirements and hold delivery plan owners to account.
- Manage testing work streams, drive User Acceptance Testing collaborating with internal and external teams where required.
- Develop and deliver presentations to Markets Operations and business management covering project / program status and plans.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of Operations training plans and materials, present training to small and large groups as required.
- Provide subject matter expertise for internal queries relating to appropriate projects.
- Lead, supervise, coach and develop more junior Markets Operations Program Execution team members.
Requirements:
- Strong working knowledge of global markets preferred.
- Proven track record of managing Process Transformation projects.
- Critical thinking and strong analytical skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong project management / business analysis skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- JIRA experience a plus.
- Ability to lead and execute large front to back process reviews.
- Fixed Income (cash/derivatives) product knowledge.
