This is an opportunity to join the Markets Shared Controls Group, supporting the Markets business globally through the efficient execution of controls/activities across region, product and risk category. You will work on a range of activities to support the day-to-day running of our global Markets business. You will be central to managing risk and executing controls in a fast-paced business. You'll work alongside subject matter experts looking for opportunities to enhance processes and use technology to automate activities.
This role will require interaction with business partners and support teams (Tech, ICRM, Risk and Control, Middle Office etc) - timely escalation and remediation of issues, continued drive towards efficiency and closure of any control gaps.
What you'll do:
- Liaise with front office contacts while establishing and maintaining solid relationships with our internal partners in the business.
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimise and streamline processes, propose solutions and lead implementation of improvements.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
- Collaborate with various businesses across Markets to deliver on organisational objectives.
- Work as part of a global team to monitor controls, provide oversight and escalate issues in a timely manner.
- Develop communication and similar material for presentation to a wide variety of audiences from stakeholders, peers and management.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint preferred.

- Knowledge of global markets traded products including downstream processing practices and related control principles is a positive.
