Citi is looking for an AI Adoption & Change Lead to own the end-to-end strategy for AI adoption, communications, and change management across its Client Organisation - a group that directly supports revenue growth managing Credit, Marketing, Research, Client Delivery, and Ventures on behalf of Citi's businesses. In this senior role, you will serve as the primary interface between the Client Organisation and Citi's enterprise AI teams, shaping how AI is adopted, governed, and scaled across a globally significant financial institution. You will partner with the Office of AI and Client Organisation leadership to drive end-to-end AI lifecycle delivery, from use case intake through to embedding change across business teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the AI Adoption & Change programme across the Client Organisation, owning end-to-end delivery of adoption strategy, communications, and change outcomes.
  • Design and execute a multi-channel communications plan that builds awareness of AI, showcases measurable success stories, and articulates the value of AI clearly to audiences ranging from front-line staff to senior executives.
  • Develop a comprehensive measurement strategy to track AI usage and adoption, producing dashboards and reports that deliver clear, actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with data and technology teams to ensure the infrastructure needed to capture and analyse AI usage statistics is in place and fit for purpose.
  • Coordinate and deliver change management strategies — including training and engagement programmes — that embed AI adoption across the Client Organisation's business teams.
  • Engage proactively with business teams to identify operational challenges, surface opportunities for AI leverage, and respond to requirements with practical, well-structured solutions.
  • Manage programme planning, stakeholder alignment, and risk escalation across cross-functional workstreams, ensuring delivery milestones are met and senior leadership is kept informed.
  • Assess risks associated with programme decisions, ensuring actions taken reflect sound judgement on reputational, regulatory, and operational considerations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Extensive experience in programme management, change management, communications, or a related field, with demonstrable ownership of senior-level delivery outcomes.
  • Practical knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts and their application in financial services, with the ability to translate technical subject matter into clear, persuasive messaging for non-technical audiences.
  • Hands-on experience building and managing dashboards and reporting tools to track adoption metrics and communicate progress across stakeholder groups.
  • Applied knowledge of change management methodologies, with experience designing and delivering training and engagement strategies at programme scale.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and content — including presentations, articles, and newsletters — for audiences from analyst to executive level.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and manage stakeholders at senior leadership level, coordinating across functions without direct authority to achieve shared outcomes.
  • Self-starter, proactive "can-do" attitude, strong sense of ownership.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a Master's degree is an advantage.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the financial services sector and an understanding of how functions such as Credit, Marketing, and Research operate within a large institution.
  • Awareness of AI adoption patterns and use cases relevant to client-facing and analytical business functions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with experience producing executive-level reporting and presentation materials.
