Working closely with stakeholders, this role will gather and analyse business requirements, define effective technical solutions, and collaborate with the technical team to ensure successful delivery of IT projects.
In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans and timelines, while gaining exposure to advanced execution platforms, market microstructure, and trade lifecycle processes. These processes include workflows for market open, continuous trading, close auctions, currency handling, and quoting versus trading price conversion. Strong experience in global equities trading and equity broking, together with strong knowledge of EMEA markets, is essential.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, map out processes, and work with the technical team for delivery.
- Collaborate with front-office development teams to align on design interfaces and interrelated functionalities.
- Demonstrate strong presentation skills to articulate and advocate for innovative technology solutions, designs, frameworks, and architectural concepts.
- Initiate, execute, and facilitate knowledge transfer for technology projects, ensuring smooth project kick-off and delivery.
- Drive initiatives related to technical design and architecture, emphasizing scalability, stability, and performance.
- Lead and coordinate efforts with Quality Assurance analysts to guarantee rigorous testing and validation.
- Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions aligned with business needs.
- Maintain full compliance with CLSA training programs and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related IT field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience as an IT Business Analyst or Solution Lead.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in system design, including architecture definition and component integration.
- Hands-on experience developing low-latency, high-throughput Java / C++ applications.
- Practical experience building cash equity trading platforms - OMS, EMS, Market Connectivity.
- Familiarity with enterprise SDLC tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube.
- Excellent command of fluent in both spoken and written English.
