Position Description

We are seeking an Analyst to join our Equity Derivatives Sales team, supporting the delivery of innovative derivative solutions to institutional clients.

The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Trading, Structuring, and Research teams to provide market insights, develop client materials, and support transaction execution.

This role offers exposure to global equity markets and a broad range of equity derivative products.

The Analyst will contribute to client relationship management, identify new business opportunities, and help drive revenue growth.

  • Key areas of Responsibilities
  • Market equity derivatives products to EMEA clients, including vanilla and exotic options, structured notes, OTC swaps, and certificates.
  • Prepare and share market commentary, trade ideas, and product suggestions tailored to client needs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and assist senior sales colleagues in developing new business.
  • Collect and analyse client feedback on pricing and products to help enhance the competitiveness of the equity derivatives offering.
  • Work closely with trading, structuring, quant, and prime services teams to improve systems, drive infrastructure enhancements, and deliver a superior client experience.
  • Support the full trade lifecycle, including pre-trade pricing and preparation, execution, and post-trade follow-up.
  • Liaise closely with internal stakeholders to drive onboarding of new partners, including private banks, wealth managers and family offices, asset managers, distributors and institutions, through helping to drive the KYC process and documentation (DA / ISDA)
  • Partner with colleagues from other product lines (Cash Equities, FICC) to identify and pursue cross-department collaboration opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (Master’s preferred) holder in Finance, Mathematics, Sciences, Engineering or a related field.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and motivation.
  • Ability to think fast and critically, solve various problems arising from trading, risk and operations.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills essential; experience with VBA/macros or Python an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and collaborate in a global team.
