We’re seeking experienced Face Shovel Operators to join our Mine Production team at Sino Iron. This role is offered on a 2/1 roster (days & nights), FIFO from Perth to Cape Preston. If you want to operate some of the world’s largest hydraulic face shovels, this is the role for you.

You’ll be operating:

  • CAT 6090 Hydraulic Face Shovels (1000t)
  • Terex RH400 Hydraulic Face Shovels (1000t)

About you

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Proven experience operating large hydraulic face shovels (400t+) and excavators (200t+)
  • Current Australian driver’s licence (Preferably Manual)
  • Restricted Quarry Manager and/or First Aid certificate (highly desirable)
  • Extensive knowledge of surface mining principles
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
