Cape Preston Port Company (CPPC) is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our Port Maintenance Planning team on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.

Reporting to the Superintendent – Planning & Reliability, you will coordinate stakeholders and support best‑practice maintenance processes to deliver effective routine and corrective maintenance across Port Operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Preparation of maintenance plans (scope validation, task planning, resource and material allocation) in accordance with CPPC work management processes.
  • Coordinate administration of SAP transactional data to ensure it is accurate, complete, and current.
  • Coordinates contractor engagements, administrative approvals and initiates support requests required to enable maintenance delivery.
  • Ensure that executable plans and schedules are developed and are aligned with Asset Management strategies and the operational business plan.
  • Optimise availability of plant assets through prioritisation and aggregation of work to match operational maintenance windows.
  • Facilitate the weekly planning meetings to ensure alignment of all work management activities to production or other operational plans.
  • Cultivate positive, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders through effective communication and consultation.
  • Monitors and updates SAP maintenance related master data.

Successful applicant will have

  • Trade or Engineering qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills
  • Proven experience in maintenance/work management planning
  • Solid understanding of asset and work management principles
  • Proficient in SAP, MS Project, and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of WHS and environmental systems and legislation
  • Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
  • Self‑reliant contributor with significant experience in the Maintenance/Work Management Planning area
  • Strong understanding of Asset Management and Work Management principle
