Sino Iron is the largest magnetite mining and downstream processing operation in Australia, located 100km Southwest of Karratha in the mining hub of the Pilbara. Our fully integrated operation features an open pit mine serviced by the biggest haul trucks in the world, a six-line concentrator and port terminal facilities at nearby Cape Preston. Our state-of-the-art power station and desalination plant are among the largest in the State.
The Opportunity
CITIC Pacific Mining is seeking experienced HD Fitters to join our HME team on a permanent 2/1 continuous shift roster (days & nights), FIFO ex Perth. Reporting to the Supervisor Load and Drill, this role is responsible for the maintenance of all drills and ancillary equipment to meet mine production targets as set out.
To Be Successful in the Role, You Will Have:
- Heavy Duty Mechanical Trade Qualification
- Computing Skills (Technical & Diagnostic software)
- A current WA HR Drivers Licence
- HRWL - LF, EWP
- Understanding of SAP
