We are looking for an experienced High Voltage Operator Maintainer Technician to support the operation and maintenance of our transmission and distribution power networks.
About the Role
This is a permanent 2/1 FIFO position from Perth to Cape Preston (nights and days shift roster).
Role Responsibilities
- HV switching and network operations up to 220KV
- HV Isolations
- Operation and maintenance of HV equipment
- Fault finding and diagnostics on power systems
- Supporting reliable power generation and distribution
- Identifying improvements to plant systems and processes
- Ensuring safe operation of high voltage infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Electrical Licence unrestricted (Essential)
- High Voltage Switching Ticket (Essential)
- Current WA Manual Driver’s Licence (Essential)
- Knowledge of HV switchgear, transformers and protection systems
- Power network operations or maintenance experience (Desirable)
