We are seeking a talented and experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems through the implementation of best practices in infrastructure automation, monitoring, and incident response.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient infrastructure to support our services and applications.
  2. Implement and maintain automated processes for deployment, configuration, and monitoring of systems and services.
  3. Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability.
  4. Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure timely detection and resolution of issues.
  5. Participate in incident response and on-call rotations to address and resolve production incidents.
  6. Continuously identify opportunities for improvement in system reliability, performance, and efficiency.
  7. Contribute to the evolution of our infrastructure architecture to meet the needs of our growing business.
  8. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and excellence in site reliability engineering practices.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  2. Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on infrastructure automation and reliability engineering.
  3. Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java) and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
  4. Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  5. Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
  6. Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
  7. Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.
  9. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  10. Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
