Role/Team Overview
Seeking a highly experienced and compliance-focused Platform Lead to oversee and drive the development of our Equity Derivatives Regulatory Reporting Platform. This critical role will ensure our business remains fully compliant with evolving global and regional regulatory mandates while maintaining the highest standards of data integrity and reporting accuracy. The candidate will be responsible for leading strategic platform enhancements, mitigating compliance risks, and collaborating with business, legal, technology and Reg Ops stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable reporting solutions that protect the firm's franchise and support transaction transparency.
What you'll do
- Resource Allocation: Strategically allocate tech resources and prioritise pipeline tasks to consistently meet tight project deadlines.
- Derivative Expert: Having a strong experience in the different products traded on the desk and their characteristics in order to be able to direct technology and operations team in meeting the reporting objective.
- Keep abreast of evolving regulatory requirements with legal and compliance team to better plan and allocate resources to meet them.
- Inspect trade data and be able to identify suspicious patterns, work with monitoring team to ensure consistent data quality.
- Culture Development: Foster a collaborative, positive, and high-performing team environment.
- Key Liaison: Act as the primary interface and translator between the technology team and any customer or sales enquiry in matching trades.
- Progress Reporting: Deliver clear, transparent, and regular progress reports, highlighting milestones, risks, and successes to business leadership.
