Citi is seeking an experienced Pan European Cash Equities Trader to join our London-based trading desk. This is a high-impact, revenue-generating role at the heart of our European equities franchise. You will be responsible for pricing and trading a diverse range of cash equity products, managing risk and inventory profitably, and driving revenue growth through strategic market making and client engagement.

What you'll do:
- Price and execute cash equity trades across Pan-European markets (including UK, Germany, France, Nordics, and Southern Europe), providing competitive two-way pricing and deep liquidity to institutional clients while managing execution risk and market impact.
- Actively manage equity inventory positions, optimize capital deployment, and deliver consistent profitability through disciplined risk management, hedging strategies, and tactical positioning in response to market dynamics and client flow.
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients (hedge funds, asset managers, pension funds), understand their trading needs, and develop innovative solutions that deepen wallet share and expand Citi's European equity footprint.
- Work closely with Equity Derivatives, Prime Finance, Sales, Research, and Electronic Trading teams to deliver integrated client solutions, share market insights, and identify cross-selling opportunities that leverage Citi's full product suite.
- Monitor European equity market microstructure, regulatory developments (MiFID II, transparency requirements), and competitive positioning; contribute to desk strategy, trading algorithms, and liquidity optimization initiatives.
- Partner with Quantitative Strategy and Electronic Trading teams to enhance algorithmic execution, improve trade capture systems, and adopt new technologies (machine learning, AI-driven analytics) that drive operational efficiency and alpha generation.
