The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
The role may provide a wide range of deal-making experiences related to secured commercial real estate finance - including balance sheet loans, syndicated loans, senior/mezzanine structures, warehouse financing, loan on loan facilities, securitization, and take-private / special situations. This role will provide a high level of exposure to investors in commercial real estate across private equity and private credit investors amongst others. This is an in-Business role based in London.
What you will do will be varied day to day, but the key drivers for the role are:
- Evaluate commercial real estate properties, portfolios and businesses as well as market activity and futures drivers of performance. This may cover a wide range of commercial real estate asset classes from leased properties (such as warehouses or offices) to operating properties (such as hotels).
- Analysis and modelling of commercial real estate, financings and securitisations.
- Structuring loans and securitisation including determining terms & conditions and reviewing and negotiating documentation with clients.
- Preparation of detailed credit memos and presentations of financing and securitisation transactions for credit committee and other purposes.
- Engage in discussions with clients and advisers.
- Work with internal partners including onboarding, risk, legal, sales and banking.
- Involvement in monitoring financings and other ad hoc workstreams.
What we will need from you:
- Experience in financing / banking (ideally European structured credit / real estate finance transactions).
- Core competencies include analytical and modelling ability, presentation preparation, due diligence and project management.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Powerpoint).
- Strong interpersonal and communication (written and spoken) skills. You are a self-starter who thrives both independently and as part of a collaborative team, with a strong commitment to personal growth and career development, including mobility and flexibility.
- Self-motivated and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to multi-task and meet short deadlines.
- Ability to manage stressful situations and heated discussions in a calm, professional, diplomatic and focused manner.
- University degree or similar.
