We are looking for an experienced individual to join the Physical Commodity Energy Financing team in London within Citi Global Markets to primarily manage the full lifecycle of existing physical commodity transactions (mainly refinery intermediations and title based on water transactions as well as receivable programmes). The position will sit within Front Office. Responsibilities:- Owner of full deal lifecycle. Act as the front-office owner of pre-execution and post-execution of deal management. Deal management includes but is not limited to trade bookings, testing, and trade life-cycle management.
- Manage ongoing client relationships including operational matters, reconciliations and fees.
- Ensure seamless coordination between clients, trading, risk, structuring, legal, logistics and operations.
- Monitor credit risk, P&L, utilizations to ensure that deal parameters are run within approved limits/frameworks.
- Act as first line of defense and escalate any issues promptly.
- Work closely with IT automation desk to automate trade booking and management processes.
- Work with other team members for sell down of receivables generated through physical commodity transactions.
- This is not an entry level position. Proven experience in a similar position is required.
- Strong understanding of the market, players and the deal structures.
- Previous experience in managing similar deals.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with multiple functional groups in a cohesive manner.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work with a broad group of stakeholders.

- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred.
