This role is for the UK Transfer Agency team, within Funds Operations. The team is responsible for providing shareholder servicing to Transfer Agency clients. The service offering is mainly digital and therefore the TA team manages exceptions and oversight of Investor and Distributor trade processing, register maintenance, cash, cash reconciliations and client money, distributions, and reporting. The team also acts as a primary contact for Transfer Agency clients for queries and the role holder is responsible for participating in the achievement of the daily tasks. These tasks could include the processing of trades, settling payments, completing reconciliations, and responding to enquiries and complaints. The candidate may also have the opportunity to contribute to further enhancing the digital operating model, using their knowledge and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Complete the daily workflow, ensuring tasks assigned are completed in line with procedures and controls, and within a timely manner
- Comply with internal Risk policies and escalate risks and issues accordingly
- Build trusted working relationships with the Transfer Agency clients serviced within the team and be involved in client meetings as requested by manager
- Delegate for team manager as required
- Work with the project team to assist in project work, including business readiness activities and testing
- Assist your manager in the onboarding of new clients and in the development of new products and initiatives for existing clients
Requirements:
- Experience in a related Transfer Agency role
- Experience of UKTA Regulatory Reporting requirements and submissions will be an advantage
- Proven system development lifecycle skills
- Effective analytic and presentation skills
- Effective verbal and written skills
