The Spread Products (SP) production management group provides direct support to a diverse set of trading desks all trading under the “SP” banner with a focus on the ITIL support procedures and protocols. Your responsibilities will be aligned to supporting all the tools that the front office business & traders need to facilitate its franchise within Citi, providing exposure to the entire breadth of the SP Technology. We are the first line of technical defence, working closely with our partners in our SP business including Sales, Trading, Operations, and Risk & Controls to ensure stable platforms which enable us to be the best for our clients.
Role Overview:- Supporting Spread Products Risk calculation and feed generation applications.
- Part of a global follow-the-sun team ensuring overnight risk batches complete successfully and within SLAs.
- Investigate issues raised by downstream partners on feeds delivered to them, improving data quality checks, monitoring and alerting.
- Work closely with the in-house dev teams, escalating issues where needed.
- Track incidents in Service Now, own the stability book of work in Jira.
- Improve monitoring, observability and controls for our stack.
- Improve resiliency and recoverability for our stack, holding our dev team accountable.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Multi-tasking and prioritisation of issues based on impact.
- Ability to work under pressure, reacting quickly to issues and outages.
- Mindset of constant improvement and anticipating issues.
- Good all-round technical skills. Log analysis, scripting, Unix, SQL.
- Good communication skills, facing off to technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience in a L2 application support role.
- Experience within Banking / Markets Technology.
