The role is a leadership position responsible for driving strategy, revenue growth and market share expansion of the FIs Trade business globally. The role operates across key markets, clusters, and trade corridors, ensuring alignment between client needs, product strategy, and execution.
Responsibilities- Identify and execute growth opportunities across corridors, markets, and FI segments
- Drive revenue expansion, market share growth, and competitive positioning; lead delivery of strategic and transformation initiatives
- Lead high-impact client engagements, including pitches, strategic reviews, and negotiations; act as a Product Sales SME in client interactions, providing deep expertise on Trade and Services solutions
- Partner with FI Sales teams globally to increase client wallet share and revenue quality
- Act as the central interface between FI Sales and Trade Product teams, ensuring product strategy reflects evolving client needs and market dynamics
- Oversee global FI Trade portfolio performance, including revenue and profitability; monitor trends, identify growth drivers, and address underperformance or attrition
- Influence and align senior stakeholders across Sales, Product, Risk, and regional leadership; foster cross-functional collaboration to deliver integrated client solutions
- Extensive experience in Trade Finance, Financial Institutions or Transaction Banking
- Proven track record in client engagement, product advisory and revenue generation
- Deep expertise in Trade products and ability to act as a Product Sales SME
- Demonstrated success in managing complex deals and senior client relationships
- Strong client-facing leader with product expertise and executive presence
- Commercially driven with a strategic mindset
- Ability to translate complex solutions into clear client value propositions
- Influential communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
