Overview of role: We are currently recruiting for a Business Associate to join the ICG Technology Financial Governance team responsible for the overall administrative activities within financial control. The role involves providing a high level of support to the ICG Technology Financial Governance team, primarily in the areas of Software financial management and the preparation and dissemination of robust management information to facilitate effective management of the financial resources of the Organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in financial forecasting, budgeting and management for the Software Book of Work across ICG Technology lines of Business.
- Producing regular and ad hoc high quality financial reports in line with agreed reporting schedules.
- Interface with global Relationship Managers to ensure suppliers are consistent with resource and location strategy.
- Submit approval/disapproval of funds requests for budget reports and analyse monthly department reports to maintain expenditure controls.
- Examine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations.
- Complete compliance related activities and reporting.
- Assist with real estate analytics and reporting.
- Provide advice and technical assistance with cost analysis, fiscal allocation, and budget preparation.
- Review data for accuracy and create required reporting to manage the data.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets.
Qualifications:
- Experience with databases and information management.
- Advanced Excel expertise including demonstrated capabilities with pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, and formulas.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience working within a team environment and working to deadlines.
- Financial experience beneficial but not essential.
