Team / Role Overview

This role sits within Research Communications and is focused on raising the profile and impact of Research across internal and external audiences. It combines media engagement across EMEA and APAC with ownership of internal communications strategy, ensuring consistent messaging and strong connectivity between Research, leadership, journalists and business partners. The role also uses analytics and AI tools to track performance and inform strategy.

What you’ll do

  • Drive media engagement by building journalist relationships, proactively pitch content and supporting opportunities across events, conferences, podcasts and new formats.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as awards submissions, visibility campaigns and expanding Research reach.
  • Internally lead communications activity, producing regular updates, managing platforms like SharePoint and delivering content across multiple channels.
  • Liaise and connect Research with other business areas to enhance collaboration.
  • Track performance across media and digital channels and manage day-to-day operations including media requests, trackers, content updates and weekly communications.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in media relations and multi-channel content delivery.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and regular outputs.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable working at pace.
  • Able to use data, analytics and AI tools to inform decisions and improve outcomes, with a collaborative approach to working across teams.
