Citi Markets Operations is currently at a pivotal point in its evolution and journey to implement a target operating model. We take pride and are passionate about our People and our culture. Markets Operations at Citi has embarked on a significant, multi-year transformation covering all aspects of designing and delivering a future state target operating model: risk and controls, regulatory compliance, process reengineering, automation, people and culture, data transformation, technology investment and client service. This is a large and complex undertaking.
We are recruiting a candidate to join a cross functional global team within the Markets Operations COO Organization. The Program Execution and Portfolio Management team has been formed to support stakeholders both within Operations and across the bank, to design and deliver this multi-year transformation roadmap. Our transformation is underpinned by strategy, investment, change execution and a market-leading change delivery team focusing on program and project management, business analysis, process re-engineering, low code application development and PMO.
The team is searching for a Lead PM/BA Senior Vice President role to drive a multi-year FX Operations transformation operational model. The role will combine strategy, project management expertise and analytical skills working closely with FX Operations teams in partnership with risk & control teams and technology partners globally across Citi.
What you\βll do
- Drive the strategy and book of work for FX Operations Target Operating Model Transformation
- Take the lead on the generation of Senior Exec level communications/packs/presentations. The candidate must have strong proficiency in this area.
- Establish and oversee a process to assess end-to-end program plans. Provide guidance and set standards for project managers around development of plans, managing and reporting of risks and issues, project resource and financial management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders. Candidate must have strong proficiency and experience in communicating with senior audiences
- Manage the investment portfolio to ensure demand documented are strategic backed by a business case, cost benefit analysis, tangible benefits and associated KPIs.
- Take an active role in managing the book of work, assessing the performance, trends, KPIs, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Develop best practices and global consistency, simplifying & standardizing processes, controls and flows.
- Collaborate with chief of staff teams on headcount and budget processes and controls.

- Interface with risk and control functions to ensure change risk management is robust and facilitates reduction to the risk profile.
- Drives adherence to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery as defined by Citi PM standards.
What we\βll need from you
- Experience in delivering large scale transformation programs in a fast paced, large global financial services firm, ideally in an operations, risk or technology organization.
- Exceptional Program Management skills; Specialized program management and/or reengineering certifications (six sigma, Agile, Lean, Prince 2 or PMP).
- Strong track record and experience with stakeholder engagement with the ability to lead and drive working groups with senior stakeholders.
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skills. Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities along with a desire to work in a dynamic environment is key.
- Excellent analytical, data management and problem-solving skills and ability to clearly document findings and proposals for solutions using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, Confluence and any other relevant tools.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. A demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions to multiple levels.
- Exercise independence of judgement/autonomy and can operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
