Markets Operations Belfast Overview
Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business. We support a wide range of internal stakeholders including Front Office Sales and Trading Desks, Compliance, Legal, Finance and HR; alongside having significant interaction with external clients, playing a key role in the overall client experience.

Role Overview
The role we are recruiting for is a hybrid Business Analyst / Project Manager role, based in Belfast, aligned to the Equities business. You will be part of the Futures & Derivatives Clearing (FDC) and Equities Operations Program Execution Team, a key component of the Markets Ops Transformation organization. The team drives strategic transformation and delivers Target Operating Models for FDC and Equities Operations in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
What you'll do
- Project Leadership & Delivery: Manage end‑to‑end projects from defining scope, milestones and deliverables with stakeholders to ensuring successful, on‑time delivery meeting business needs.
- Planning & Documentation: Develop comprehensive project documentation, including charters, business requirements, plans, and risk/issue logs.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor project progress, resources, and risks, identifying and escalating issues promptly and providing timely, clear updates and presentations to all stakeholders, including senior management.
- Process Optimization: Lead business analysis efforts, clarify requirements, and drive the development and implementation of innovative, efficient processes for Equities Operations.
- Risk & Compliance: Apply robust risk management practices and ensure regulatory compliance to protect the firm’s reputation.
- Team & Collaboration: Drive resource planning and foster strong cross‑functional collaboration across Business, Operations, Technology, Compliance, and other departments.
- Strategic Initiatives: Champion change management and undertake additional strategic projects/tasks as required.
What we'll need from you
- Previous experience and knowledge of Equities preferred
- Project Manager/Business Analyst experience
- CAPM, PMP, PgMP and/or MBA are a plus
- Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to persuade and influence others; may negotiate with external parties.
