Team/Role Overview

The role is a Product Management position accountable for delivering a first‑class digital experience for all Investor Services clients. Working with each of the Investor Services product and technology teams, the role involves organising, enhancing, and building scalable data products that are fit for purpose and support the needs of internal stakeholders and clients. The role requires an individual with strong data expertise and specialist Investor Services industry experience. You should have previously built, led, and scaled data products working across Engineering and Operations. You have experience modelling Middle Office, Fund Accounting, and Custody domains, inclusive of Reference & Static data sets. You are a change agent, curious and passionate about data and technology, with a critical focus on delivering business outcomes through data.

What you’ll do

  • Identify and champion opportunities to leverage Citi’s scale, bringing new products and services to the Data and Client Platforms (DCP) team to further its strategic agenda.
  • Drive the end‑to‑end lifecycle of high‑quality, user‑centric Investor Services data products, from capturing and prioritising needs across key stakeholders (including client feedback) to design, build, and scalable delivery leveraging modern architectures.
  • Collaborate with governance teams and data modelers to maintain rigorous data accuracy, completeness, security, and reliability, adhering to firm‑wide standards and policies while managing associated risks.
  • Foster continuous improvement by implementing efficient processes, reducing time to market, and proactively identifying and resolving data‑related issues through root cause analysis.

What we’ll need from you

  • Significant pertinent experience with Investor Services experience or similar industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing Target Operating Models (TOMs) to optimise efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Proficient in User Experience (UX) design, client segmentation, and persona development, driving tailored and impactful solutions.
  • Proven ability to apply design thinking principles to complex problems, fostering innovative and human‑centred solutions.
  • Proven track record in managing and delivering successful data and digital products.
  • Demonstrated experience in the disciplines of Data Modeling and Data Governance, with a strong focus on Investor Services.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Thought leadership experience – via industry events, journals, and targeted articles.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability with experience in using data tools (ETL, BI, Python, SQL).
  • Attention to detail is a must, with excellent verbal, written, and relationship skills to be used to interact with a global group.
  • Optimises work processes by balancing effective/efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates the ability to balance between seeing the “big picture” while paying close attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent. MBA preferred.
