Drive proactive engagement with clients on strategic topics such as capital structure optimisation, funding strategies, M&A financing, and liquidity management. Monitor client satisfaction and service levels, ensuring alignment with internal standards and continuous improvement in client experience.

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Risk Management & Governance – Maintain overall responsibility for credit quality, portfolio performance, and risk‑adjusted returns within the UK T&C portfolio, ensuring adherence to internal risk appetite and underwriting standards; partner closely with Risk, Legal and Compliance to assess, structure and approve transactions in line with regulatory expectations and internal governance standards; identify, assess and proactively manage sector‑specific risks, promote a strong risk culture and accountability for risk‑related decisions; uphold the highest standards of integrity, ethical conduct and control discipline, safeguarding the firm’s reputation.
- People Management & Leadership – Lead, manage and develop a team, providing clear direction, performance management and ongoing coaching; set and monitor individual and team performance objectives aligned with overall business strategy; drive talent development and succession planning, identifying high‑potential individuals and supporting career progression; foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture that promotes diversity of thought, strong employee engagement and adherence to firm values.
